Anyway

I read constantly. Not everything I read sticks. Decades ago, I read these paradoxical commandments. They resonated so much that I made these designs to anchor them in my memory. As we all seek to recover from this past year, may these paradoxical commandments guide you in making meaning of crazy and confusing times.

What’s your favorite commandment?

“What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build Anyway.” It reflects the principle of “Play to an audience of One” that helps me to remember that I am following and being directed by the One who created me and given me purpose in life – not to gain fame or money or leave my mark. He has the big picture and knows what really matters. It’s the process of following and obeying that I try to focus on – not an end product. I am here for such a time as this and I may never know what impacts I leave.
