In today’s culture, duty seems to be a heavy burdened affair. Almost like a set of chains that limits an individual. I have found it to be so surprisingly liberating. I believe in doing my duty.
From Wikipedia: Duty has to be accepted and understood on the basis of one’s foundation of sense and knowledge. Therefore, duty and its manifestations vary with values from culture to culture. On one hand, duty may be seen as terms of reference, job description, or behavior – and it is all of that … but duty is not only about doing things right, but it is also about doing the right thing.
Life has a way of thrusting us into places where duty can seem burdensome. My thoughts are short.
If not me, then who?
What is the right thing to do?
Do you know your duty? If you do enjoy the satisfaction that comes from serving it. That is a good way to approach your duty.
My duty never was an individual pursuit. I am so grateful for all those who served and are a part of an incredible heritage that shaped me and challenges me to continue to serve others. There isn’t enough space to list all those who come to mind. Thank you!

What great pictures!
I never thought about the fact that duty and its manifestations vary with values from culture to culture. I think no matter what, duty is about DOING.
