Supima Bath Towels – white with black monogramming classic!
35 years ago it seemed everyone had the same idea – kitchen towels. They were used everyday; it was a lasting gift. All the gifts were wonderful and well used, but my other favorite was a lovely cross stitched sentiment with our wedding date. Whenever I can, I give a personal or decorative gift; especially if I know the couple has plenty of family to provide the practical gifts.
Thank you for the tip! I really need a new app for podcasts. I’m using “podcasts” which I guess is Apple. It is not user friendly, nor intuitive, nor hands free enough!
Thank you for the meanderings!
I still have the gifts that marked my wedding day. Good thoughts. Thanks.
I received a cross stitched wedding memento which included my wedding date. I also received two framed, artistically enhanced versions of our wedding invitation! Obviously I’ve kept these 3 items and they’ve outlived the towels and sheets. Tbh I received 7 sets of towels, way too many for just the two of us. I ended up re-gifting most of them, which was truly helpful since we had many weddings to attend in those years and tight finances. These days, I try to bless newlyweds with cold hard cash since I figure it is often needed and useful. They’ll probably not remember it years down the road, but that’s ok too. 😀
Ah so good Vicki to hear the diverse ways we gift those who begin this big step! Thanks for sharing.
